Hooded Conviction — sculpted in clay by @Brrrbon_

Sculpted entirely from clay by artist Brrrbon, this piece transforms the familiar language of market speculation into something tactile, imperfect, and strangely alive.

At its center sits a pink pig enveloped in an oversized black hood. The sculpture proudly retains the fingerprints, folds, impressions, and irregularities of the artist’s hand. Rather than concealing its construction, brrrbon allows the clay itself to become part of the character—the uneven surfaces giving the pig an almost living texture.

Its enormous eyes glance anxiously toward the side, creating an expression somewhere between curiosity, suspicion, and calculated anticipation. Behind it, green candlesticks climb through the darkness, punctuated by fleeting flashes of red. The imagery is unmistakably financial, yet rendered in clay it becomes playful and primitive: the cold abstraction of a price chart recreated by hand.

The contrast is what gives the work its personality. Soft pink clay against an imposing black hood. Innocence against anonymity. A motionless figure against a market seemingly racing upward.

And then there is the pig itself—a centuries-old symbol of appetite and excess, reimagined here not as triumphant or greedy, but watchful. It doesn't celebrate the green candles. It studies them.

In Brrrbon’s hands, the piece becomes a small monument to the psychology of speculation: hope, greed, uncertainty, patience, and the irresistible temptation to keep watching the chart.
