@GoatRosters Awesome roster! Can’t wait to see Jacob Rodriguez from Texas Tech as one of the rookies available hopefully! This makes the offseason Madden so much fun
@partnercops22@RapSheet@JamesPalmerTV@TomPelissero I appreciate the call out lol. Dan has impressed me WAY more than I was expecting. Maybe getting Fitterer out of the way was the only move we needed to make. He has got this roster in the best place it’s been in years. Never been so happy to eat crow!😋
Am I the only one worried that Baltimore having a lot more cap space could try to sway Devin Lloyd or Jaelan Phillips away from Carolina’s agreements??😅😅
@dmcland72 Hey man. Could you dm me? I think you were in front of me handling the flag today and noticed you recording. Was gonna see if you might’ve got one with me and my family in it behind you! Would love to get a clip of that if so
First drive of the season. Miscommunication/Blown coverage in the secondary between Pro Bowl CB and Free Safety with experience in the system. Touchdown.
A consistent issue throughout the whole season no matter what players were playing or not.
Some organizations don’t play around at all with coordinators who come up short...
I’m not going to belabor the Evero situation too much, but if we are bad defensively again - and it leads to a losing season, I’m placing blame on everyone from ownership down…
It’s time to win games - not experiment
We prioritized our free agents last offseason to target players who had played in EE’s system before to try to skip the learning curve of teaching players a system they’re unfamiliar with. The plan is for players to improve year to year in your system. No one seemed to improve from last year to this year or from Week 1 to Week 18. Take the offense for example. Definitely took a little bit but they were light years ahead of where they started the season by Week 18. I hope I’m wrong for the sake of this being my team but I have no confidence in EE getting these defense competitive based on the evidence he’s given us these last 2 seasons. Especially when compared to other DC’s who do more with less already.
No, I knew we weren’t going to be good on D. A “good” defense to me would’ve ranked in the top half of the league in important stat categories. What I expected from EE in year 2 was to see progress from year 1 and progress from start to finish of year 2. They looked the same in Week 18 as they did in Week 1. We did nothing this season that I would want to carry over to next year. Complete restart in his 3rd season as DC. Not ideal to keep spinning our tires on a system that doesn’t seem to be effective AT ALL.
