The Accies played Southampton Vets this weekend in a charity game for @SFC_Foundation. Saints won 8-2 and the Accies continue to make new friends and memories for a fantastic cause.
Accies Veterans 2025 Malaga Tour, took a mixed squad of 60,55 and 50's players to Spain taking on FC Granada, FC Malaga and El Palo FC. Great time had by all . Accies continue to make great relations abroad and showcase Welsh Veterans football is going strong.
Pentyrch Veterans hosted Cardiff Accies veterans in a charity football game for Velindre. A competitive game saw @pentyrchvets emerge as 3-1 winners.
Contributions from players and raffle raised £660. Great day arranged by Danny Saffer, thanks to all who took part and donated.
Double weekend win for the Accies 60's and 50's. The 60's won 4-1 against Merthyr, goals from Rich Payne (60's debut), Paul Welsh, Russel Lewis and Huw Davies. Whilst the 50's won 3-1 away at Nelson, goals from Dave Evans, Andrew Lazarou and Paddy Chichester.
Accies 55's win 3-1 away at Swansea in the cup quarter final group C. Two first-half goals from the Accies striker Vaskin and third from Buckland, secured the result and the Accies into the Semi finals of the cup.
55's in Cup action Thursday v Swansea. On Sunday, League fixtures for the 50's, home to Continental and 60's, are away to Barry. Good luck all 3 squads.
4 Points weekend for the 50's and 55's. The 50's secured 3 points, beating Newport 2-1 Friday night. The 55's took a point away at Pontyclun Sunday with a 1-1 draw.
Over 60's share the points with Swansea. The home team started well, with two early goals from on form goal machine Miles. The Swans got one back before half time, then Welsh found the net from a direct corner to take a half-time lead 3-1. Swans grabbed 2 goals to earn a draw.
