Its used for teaching kids & adults to cycle, has a road system. I personally have helped run sessions to increase participation in cycling from ethnically diverse communities

@closepassescdf @DeAthCardiff The whole area needs looking at it doesn't it. Cycling down fairoak road and there are always cars parked on double yellows- 6 today, blocking carriageway and one even the whole footpath. Cyclists and pedestrians pushed into the middle of the road

I will not raise my children to be restricted to a car for fear of others, I will continue to educate them how to be attentive, safe road users who are considerate of others

If every driver that has tried to shamed the parent put as much effort into driving considerately and urging others too, the roads would be safer

@Sc_Meerkat @gabe2663 @francesca_kms No one was injured, the van was going v slowly, if he had done same to five year old cyclist he would not have been killed but yes maybe injured. I let my children ride on the road, I am not stupid.

@gabe2663 Good to hear you are considerate. Just like drivers, there are good and and bad examples however the abuse I get solely for being on a bike is unreal

Cyclist hatred in this country saddens me. During my cycle commute I stopped to turn right(after checking & indicating) and proceeded when safe- just like a car. As I pulled away, the driver behind shouted get off the road you dumb bitch #unnecessary #considerationworksbothways
