@wesstreeting Imagine if a hospital wrote to everybody on the waiting list and said do you still want to be on the waiting list but those who didn't respond in the correct way actually found they dropped off the waiting list. You might record a record month on month drop. Familiar?
@DailyMirror In 1990 I bought a portion of chips from a vending machine in a leisure centre (in Basildon, I think it was). So this is NOT the first in the UK.
โUnelected powerโ of ultra-rich is reshaping British politics, report claims | Politics | The Guardian https://t.co/8qfr7dwM3W. As we've been saying all along. #TheGreenParty
@benonwine The highway code says how much passing room is required. This road isn't wide enough for safe passing. So the bikes being 2 abreast is irrelevant.
@KatyKray73 Remind what these numbers look like as a "per capita" emissions number. China has 50 times the population of Oz and you're saying that they have 25 times the emissions. And whose goods are they manufacturing when they emit all that CO2 ?
@45ACPyaUknowMe@iam_smx Another version of events is that Concorde was retired after a crash caused by debris on a runway that was politically too difficult to blame on the organisation that should have kept the runway clear. But yes, it was costly to run. Will folks pay extra to arrive earlier?
@InfernalForged@katherine_deves What they didn't tell you about windmills: They use wind to mill things (i.e. turning grain into flour). Here, however, we're talking about wind turbines. If you're still not sure of the difference, look at a tourist postcard from the Netherlands.
@cb_doge All he asked for in return was for investigations into his dealings to be dropped, and for access to everyone's personal data. His generosity really is limitless.
@klara_sjo It wasn't until I read more of the thread that I realised @klara_sjo could be my new favourite twitter account. Keep up the excellent science based revelations,
@levitated@carolecadwalla One BBC report this morning described the Caerphilly result as Reform being "pipped" by Plaid Cymru. Later in the morning they had moved to saying "decisive". Did they get a load of complaints do you think ?
The Barnett Formula screws Wales.
Find out how and also enjoy some tenuous links back to Edward I building castles here in Wales.
@WalesGreenParty knows that the Barnett formula must end and that people living in Wales deserve so much better than this current system.
The Green Party's proposal for a wealth tax on 1% of assets above ยฃ10m and 2% on assets above ยฃ1bn comes top of our list of tax reforms that Britons would support, with 75% giving it their backing

Llongyfarchiadau Lyndsay Whittle and @Plaid_Cymru ! Lyndsay will do a great job of representing his constituents.
Thank you to all those in Caerffili who voted against the snake oil salesmen of the far right. Their politics of hatred and division has no place in our communities.
