@Beluba We need to be able to change the freelance we can run in mycareer, or at least have the coach call something other than motion freelance. Loving the game so far tho🙏🏾
#2k27 is actually a really fun game IF you know how to play basketball
What ruins it is the fact that online play is 90% filled with a bunch of low basketball IQ players that just throw shots up or play hero ball as soon as the game starts. It really takes away from the actual game experience.
A lot of players join a game and want to be “that guy” and their skill set and IQ for the game do not match up in the slightest.
Court vision, decision making, and overall game awareness go a long way when playing online and unfortunately a huge majority of the people running around The City have none of that. Learn the sport, learn how to play and watch how much more fun the game gets.
I remember asking assistant coach Mo Cheeks, what’s harder to do? Workout after practice or before?? I only asked cuz by time I would get to the gym, Russ was already done in the morning and I usually got mine in after practice. Mo like, “coming in before practice is probably harder”…since then, it’s been my routine….a lot of people looked at the emotions on the court and thought Russ was loud, nah to me, he was quiet and methodical. He lead by example and once the lights were bright, he let everything out and experienced pure freedom. It was inspiring as his teammate and everywhere I went, I seen it inspire people from all walks of life, crazy thing is, he didn’t say much, he just showed up. For 18 years. This basketball life is sacred to us as professionals, what we put into that court means everything. Some of us wish we could go back and do things with a little more intent and some can just wipe their hands and be satisfied with the time spent. Who u gonna be? We know what zero was on…keep inspiring in the next phase of life champ. I don’t care what happens, can’t erase what it was…The first YNs, finals run in our early 20s, all star games, seeing each other get injured and bounce back, the bus rides, plane rides, card games, jokes and arguments, the whole thing, memorable!! …to the whole Westbrook family, Nina, the kids, mama Westbrook, big Russ, Ray, Donnell, everybody from luezinger high and ucla and many more that I’m forgettin, much love and Congratulations on a iconic career.
DRIBBLING UPDATES NEEDED:
1. Why is the momentum the only move that gets bumped 100% of the time? Pls fix, thx.
2. Anklebreaker bump steals.. this needs to be addressed. I shouldn't loss the ball because the defender gets broken. The dribbler can't anticipate that and there's not ball logic to prevent it.
3. Need custom dribble packages... Standing BTB, Explosive BTB, and Moving BTB, should not be tied to ONE SIG.
4. Please for the love of god, bring back the numbered animations... Basic, Normal, Pro, Elite, etc... You can keep your ProPlay animations in the game, but we NEED more variety.
5. Make sig size-ups relevant again. They were painfully bad in 2K26. You either use Coby White and double flick RS⬆️ or you dont use it at all.
6. Bring back needing to momentum to speedboost. There is no skill gap especially on swings, because you can just run around in circles with Jimmys.
*Unpopular opinion* Remove Zach Lavine dribble style...
7. I'm not really sure why adrenaline is still in the game, but it needs to be reworked. For everyone saying "it's so you dont dribble for 24 seconds," what the hell is stamina for then?
