BREAKING: LeBron James will continue his NBA career for the 2026-27 season and has informed the Los Angeles Lakers that the franchise can move on without him because he will play elsewhere, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul tells ESPN.
Imagine going to a car dealership and asking the cost of a car you want to order. The dealer tells you $2500. You pay it, thinking "what a great deal". Then, before you go in to pick it up, you get a text or an email saying the manufacturer is owed $25,000 and must be paid before you go in to pick it up. You think "well, I thought the $2500 was too good a deal" and you pay it. The car is delivered, and you go home. Three months later, you get a bill from the guy who transported your vehicle to the dealership saying you owe them $3,000 for delivering the vehicle. Then a month later another $2,000 bill from the guy who installed the tires. Then another $1,000 from the guy who put the oil in the car. And on and on. If you don't pay a bill, your credit is destroyed. THAT is the American Health System today.
Andrew Carnegie donated $2B (in current dollars) to build 2,500 libraries. Most of these beautiful buildings still stand today, over a century later, anchoring downtowns across America.
MacKenzie Scott, on the other hand, incinerated $26B on woke NGOs with nothing to show for it. Nothing she has funded will endure a year from now, let alone 100.
It would be tragic, if it weren’t so disgustingly wasteful.
A Texas man is taking World Cup tourists four-wheeling, dancing, horseback riding, and shopping at Buc-ee's to give them the best American experience.
Drew Haas of Texas is taking tourists to his 30-acre property to help them make the most of their travels.
"We love this lifestyle. We enjoy every second of it. We just wanna, like, soak it in," one tourist said.
Amazing.
For many Europeans visiting the U.S., walking into an American pharmacy can feel like discovering an entire store they didn’t expect. Beyond medicine, they find snacks, beauty products, household items, seasonal products, and many everyday essentials all in one place.
It’s interesting how something normal for locals can become a cultural surprise for travelers. A quick stop at a pharmacy turns into an experience of seeing how convenience and variety are part of everyday American life.
Travel is full of these small discoveries that make a trip memorable. Who would have thought a pharmacy visit could become one of the things visitors talk about the most?
