Our students at Cardinal Hayes are focused and working through complex polynomial long division with stellar guidance from our teachers.
Huge shoutout to our incredible educators who are always there to support, push, and believe in our students every step of the way.
Success isn't given, it's earned—and these Hayesmen are earning it every single day!

Earlier today, a select group of exceptional students were interviewed for a spot in the prestigious Cardinal Hayes President’s Men Corps.
The candidates sat down with Principal Iuso and several past members of this special group to discuss leadership, service, and what it truly means to represent the Cardinal and Gold.
To say we were impressed would be an understatement. Our future is in incredibly good hands with these fine young men of Hayes!
Up Hayes And All Its Loyal Men!
Congratulations to our students who were inducted into the National Honor Society and the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica!
Last Thursday, we celebrated their achievements at the Cardinal Hayes Honors Invocation Dinner.

Today, we honor St Justin, Martyr, a 2nd-century philosopher who embraced Christianity and became one of the Church's earliest defenders. Living during the Roman Empire, he explained Christian beliefs to civic leaders and documented some of the earliest descriptions of the Mass.
Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity the mystery of one God in three Divine Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Before ascending to heaven, Jesus gave His disciples a mission that remains ours today:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..."
Before the morning bells rang, the grand halls of our beloved school were filled with powerful energy and purpose.
Our students gathered to listen to the truly motivational words of Brother Sherlog, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.
There is nothing quite like the brotherhood and spirit that fills these halls when we come together to elevate our minds and hearts. Let’s take those words, stay focused, and make it a great day!

Today marked the official last day of classes for our incredible Class of 2026!
We sent them off in style with our traditional Senior BBQ—filled with good food, great laughs, and plenty of memories.
A massive THANK YOU to our amazing Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) for organizing and hosting such a wonderful event. We couldn't have pulled this off without your endless support and dedication to making today so special for our seniors.

Known as the “Apostle of Italy,” Saint Bernardine of Siena renewed the Catholic faith through preaching and service. Offered the role of bishop three times, he refused to continue preaching among the people. He was canonized just six years after his death in 1444.
This morning, Cardinal Hayes High School proudly celebrated the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for The Damon Barnes ’20 Center for Academic Excellence within the Monsignor Victor Pavis Library — a powerful new space that reflects our unwavering commitment to faith, scholarship, mentorship, and opportunity for every Hayesman.
Made possible through the extraordinary generosity of Donald P. Grasso in honor of Damon Barnes ’20, this center stands as a lasting testament to the transformational impact of a Cardinal Hayes education and the limitless potential of our young men. Today’s ceremony not only honored the remarkable legacy already being built by Damon Barnes, but also marked the beginning of a new chapter that will inspire generations of Hayesmen to strive for excellence in the classroom, in leadership, and in life.
We are incredibly excited for the future this center represents and for the leadership, ambition, and legacy it will continue to cultivate within our current students. The Damon Barnes ’20 Center for Academic Excellence will serve as a daily reminder to every young man who walks through its doors that greatness is possible when opportunity meets dedication.
Up Hayes And All Its Loyal Men!
A massive congratulations to our incredible CHHS 2026 Sports and Media award recipients!
We were deeply honored to have fellow Hayesmen and Super Bowl Champion, Willie Colon ’01, back in the building to personally present these awards to our hardworking and proud students.

Here is a visual recap of our 5/13 Showday.
Our seniors jammin' in the music room.
Between those riffs and that rhythm, we’re pretty sure Keith Richards and Charlie Watts would’ve been taking notes.
Students at Cardinal Hayes drew inspiration from the life of Saint Carlo Acutis. A powerful reminder to our young men that technology and faith can go hand-in-hand to change the world.
Today, the Cardinal Hayes community gathered to celebrate Ascension Thursday with a very special guest. We were honored to welcome back one of our own, Bishop Byrne ’69, to celebrate a beautiful Sacrament Mass.
It was a powerful morning of faith and spirit as four of our students received their Sacraments. Please join us in congratulating these young men as they take this significant step in their spiritual journey!

Today we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord the moment Jesus was taken to Heaven, not as an ending, but as a promise.
"I am with you always, until the end of the age."
May this day fill your heart with hope and faith.
