Need another reading adventure? Read “Who was Leonardo da Vinci?” and then head to the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Library in DC to see actual drawings done by Leonardo da Vinci. The exhibition goes until the middle of August.
I just finished Iceberg by Jennifer Nielsen. It’s a great story about a young girl who stows away on the Titanic. Did you know there is a Titanic Memorial in D.C.? It’s located by Ft. McNair. So read the book and go visit the memorial!
What are you reading? I just finished my first book of the summer! If you are fans of Percy Jackson give this book a try. Instead of Greek Mythology “Momo Arashima Steals the Sword of the Wind” centers around Asian Mythology.
Author Megan Wagner Lloyd spent the afternoon at Cardinal. The students were excited to learn about her experience as an author and hear about one of her new books Super Pancake!
