Fun night with Buckley Colorado Bombers on rainout day. Bombers and Lumberjacks/Perfectos have a great history at Regionals. We have played 4 games over the past 8 years, including the championship game in 2016 which sent Lumberjacks to the World Series.

Currently in a rain delay for the Midwest Plains Regionals in Charleston and Ben Becker Concert has been canceled tonight because of weather. Perfectos are now scheduled to play Salina KS after Buckley CO plays Akadema KS at 1pm.

Regionals play starts today in Charleston with 3 Missouri teams, 2 Kansas teams and Colorado. Perfectos play Salina KS at 2:15 today.

After being tied in the sixth 5-5, Perfectos put up 5 Runs in the seventh to win.
Joel Koenig was tonight's Sr Babe State player of the game. Not only 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored & 3 RBIs, but, robbed a hard line drive down 3rd with a vertical leap catch that was ESPNworthy.

Two Gens of Coaches
Day 1 @ Sr Babe State was a battle 17Sqrls had multiple bloop hit singles so after the 4th we were down 4-9. Our boys found their rhythm, got deeper in the count and attacked mistakes. Joey Holmes tied it up in 6th and Jaden Thacker walked it off in the 8th.
