What an incredible turnout at our UBC Division of Cardiology Community Education Session this past Saturday!
We were thrilled to welcome 200 in-person attendees at UBC Robson Square and over 600 participants joining us online, all coming together to learn more about heart health and prevention.
A special thank you to our outstanding speakers and team, who shared practical, evidence-based insights on:

Heart attacks and coronary artery disease
Nutrition, cholesterol, and heart health
Medications and recovery after cardiac events

Prevention strategies, including vaccination

Dr. Abdulla Alnuwakhtha will present the CHAMPION-AF trial published in NEJM in March 2026 during the Thursday June 4 Journal Club.
