These results support our ongoing Phase III MAVERIC trial, evaluating CardiolRx™ for the prevention of recurrent pericarditis. Enrollment has surpassed 75%, with full enrollment anticipated in the next few months.

Today we announced the results from our Phase II MAvERIC study evaluating CardiolRx™ in patients with recurrent pericarditis have been accepted for publication in a forthcoming issue of the Journal of the American Heart Association (@JAHA_AHA).

The peer-reviewed findings demonstrate rapid and sustained reductions in pericarditis pain and inflammation, a substantial reduction in pericarditis episodes per year, and a favorable safety profile in patients with high baseline disease burden.
HFpEF now accounts for >50% of all heart failure cases — and most existing therapies were built for a different disease.
It will affect nearly one in 10 people by the age of 45. In Canada, it is one of the leading causes of hospitalization for people over 65.
