The Red Sox and Cardinals have discussed multiple players yes and have gone of a few different paths to money being sent for Willson - Boston may actually be okay absorbing the money - but less of a return - Jojo coming in has made it murky - some names discussed.

Also - I don't think it's anything but was told Chaim asked about Casas lol he likes the kid - but no I don't think Boston will - I don't think.

I think Boston just wants to give a solid prospect or 2 for Willy and Jojo and take the cash - but for some reason it seems like that doesn't align with what Chaim wants to do with the deal - at-least that's how I took it when told.

Also a lot of people assuming Mets are just out - idk - I get it with Polanco but idk - still in there
