A technical malfunction kept the music from playing for Carrie Underwood at the inauguration.
After a short pause, Carrie took matters into her own hands and started singing solo.
The result is absolute chills:
What a talent.
I always felt Houston was so unified during a storm. We came together during Harvey, Ike and others. With Beryl, I don’t see that. Anyone else think that?
WOW 🚨 California Native Jillian Michaels Explains Why She Left The State
“California got too crazy for me — You've lost your f*cking mind —We're gonna pass a law for LGBTQ rights so that 24 year old men can sleep with 14 year old boys and not have to register as a sex offender because it's just not fair to the gays. I'm like, I what?”
“Some of these laws that are passing here are absolutely f*cking mind boggling in relation to crime, protecting our kids.”
“I don't know if you saw that one. That was, like, I think early 2020 when they passed that law.”
— I was like, if a 24 year old man touches my 14 year old son, I will get a gun. Yes. Craig Hatterstein in my own hands. Yes. Are you f*cking kidding?”
“Or the fact that a 12 year old child can be put on off label cancer drugs to irreparably change their body.
Again, if my son came to me and said, mom, my daughter, I think I'm trans. I'd say, okay. You know? You wanna dress this way? What do you want me to call you? Whatever the heck you want me to fine. Explore it. I love you. I'm cool.
Do you as long as we're safe, but we're not changing your body until it's fully developed. I'm sorry. Conversation's over. Can't get a f*cking tattoo. Exactly. Crazy.
It's insane. Like, I just can't It's, it's madness. It's madness to me. I could go on and on and on, and it's madness.”
“When I leave California, maybe you've lost your f*cking mind, Just maybe. Like when you when you have me running from home, maybe it's gone way too far.”
You need to watch this whole thing this is nuts. The radical Democrats have lost their minds.
"He received 39 stripes because 40 was known to kill a man. They wanted him alive. They held handfuls of his beard, and hair and pulled it out by the roots. They wanted him alive. They kicked, punched, and spit on him for hours. Until there wasn't a single spot on his body not covered in blood. They wanted him alive.
They shoved a crown of thorns down on his head so harshly it stuck in his skin. They wanted him alive. After hours of being beaten, mocked, whipped, flogged, and tortured they made him walk with a cross. They made him carry it. A rough piece of wood with splinters digging into fresh wounds. They wanted him alive.
They wanted him to feel every ounce of pain they could bring. He had to feel it in order to heal us. Crucifixion was historically one of the cruelest most tortured deaths a human could face. Hours upon hours of torture. Torture most of us can not mentally think of because the cruelty isn't normal. It isn't something our minds can comprehend. We celebrate Easter with pastel colors, happy children hunting eggs, and chocolate. Truth is there was absolutely nothing happy about the day Jesus died. It was cruel, bloody, and nasty.
He could have stopped all of it. He could have called every angel in heaven to demolish every person standing and shouting "Crucify Him!" He didn't. He knew in order to have a Sunday you have to have a Friday. He knew in order to have joy you have to carry your cross. He felt everything that day. He felt how your heart broke wide open when you had to watch your baby die. He felt how heavy your life was when you were staring down the barrel of a gun wondering if the man you called husband was going to shoot you. He carried the weight of the burden you have felt since your spouse died and life just doesn't seem right since.
On that cross he held the rapist and murderers, the sinner and the saint. He leveled every playing field and said ALL of you are worth it. He knew he had to carry the cross. He never promised the cross you carry in this life would not be heavy. His wasn't. His promise is that Sunday is coming.
No matter how heavy Friday is. Financially, emotionally, mentally, or physically. Friday is heavy. That cross is weighing you down and you are about to crumble under its weight. His promise was simply this. He won't make you carry it alone. What kind of king would step down from his throne for this?
Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God did. For you.
He did every bit of it for you and me. Oh yes it is heavy. So heavy sometimes you do not think you can take one more step. But look up, because Sunday is coming.”

"If someone is breaking into your house, you're more than welcome to shoot. We prefer you to do that, actually."

This phrase wasn’t just something catchy I made up, it was something I realized while dealing with the loss of my friend that I’d never hugged him. It seems like something simple, but it wasn’t to me. It bothered me deeply. Everything about him passing bothered me deeply. It changed the way I view things, most of all friendships. I missed signs of Jake trying to reach out and I’ve never forgotten it and I don’t think I ever will. It taught me the importance of making conversations count, checking in with friends, and letting them know you care without a shadow of a doubt. Be intentional with your words and actions, because you may never see them again until they’re in a casket.
Jake was extremely supportive of me. The cap in this drawing he loved and wore all the time, and it was the cap he was laid to rest in which meant so much to me.
It will forever be the “Jake”
The TSA has extended the rule that the unvaccinated cannot enter the U.S. until at least January 8 of next year.
Of course, illegals still can come in without any tests or vaccines.
What a ridiculous measure.
