My opinions are obviously my own.
I don't reply to people who are rude or offensive, I will just block you.
Justice, truth and fairness really matter to me.
When I see deliberate propaganda and false narratives, I will speak up.
When good people are wronged, I will speak up.
I think it's important to do so, because otherwise what are we but amoebas?
๐ Good summary for those who don't get it. Harry also offered to pay for the police protection to remove the burden to the taxpayer, but was told that UK police can't be 'bought'. But we are constantly being told that the king pays for Andrew's police protection, so which is it?
Yes you are missing a lot.
Harry funds his private security team in the USA who carry weapons. They follow him and his family anywhere they travel.
In the uk, they also bring their security but they are not allowed to be armed. The police do not provide additional protection to Harry or his family.
Harry is supposed to have whatโs called a risk assessment done on him every year because he is a senior member of the royal family who has a high level of threats against him. They stopped doing it in 2020 without explanation and heโs been fighting to have it done for the last 6 years. This risk assessment is the key to getting his full time police protection reinstated.
The reason why the government wonโt do it is bc of interference from the palace who donโt want it done bc it will allow Harry and his family to travel more freely to the uk and around the uk. And the royal family simply want to keep them out. They want them in exile for life.
Thatโs the long story short of it.
The days of chains like Starbucks and Cafe Nero using aggressive tax avoidance schemes needs to come to an end.
It's not right that your local independent coffee shop has probably paid more corporation tax than the two of them combined.
It's really odd how you can write about all manner of things on here, but write something supportive about Harry&Meghan, you will get swamped with abusive, half literate responses from a bunch of folks, who when you look at their profiles seem to be spend most of their time...
@Wolfonabridge How do you work that out? He has always had respect for the UK. He loves this country and wants to bring his children to visit, he's said that countless times. He just doesn't like some of our media (with just cause).
@FORMERLYaeduko@Mackingday I genuinely don't get it. It's like being in the playground. You state something and instead conversing in a normal fashion, they come back with things like shut up, you're stupid, you're wrong or worse. How do they manage in real life?!
Plus the Epstein/Bannon/Russian influence whose spiny tentacles reached right into the centre of our government. The last 15yrs have been warped as a result of this malevolent coercion.
The more I read about Reform, Farage, Brexit - but also wider, Mandelson, Johnson - the clearer it is Russian influence has had a hugely negative impact on our political landscape but also our country. They've made it their aim to cause division+ economic hardship to weaken us.
Will @andyburnham act to stop this? To investigate how deeply it runs? To rebuild us without that malign influence?
It's extremely concerning that this has been allowed to happen, they've compromised too many of our leaders who have turned a blind eye to protect themselves.
