@LisaCooper5426 I’ve lived here 41 out of my 49 years of life and it’s always the same. It’s always miserable this time of year. I came for work but will not be doing this again. I can no longer do this heat without AC. I much rather be in Texas at 108 with a house at 70 degrees.
I have decided I am never coming to San Diego again from July-October it is just too hot here with no AC. My body no longer wants to live without AC. It’s not worth it and don’t tell me the AC is in at 78 degrees. I am not a lizard.
@LisaCooper5426@GlennAndTonic I pay $180-200 in Texas during the hottest months and my house is 70 during the day and 67 at night and I need that now. Not sleeping really sucks.
@GlennAndTonic Anyone that says it’s more hot this year is lying. I lived here 1977-2015 and 2017-2020 and it’s always this hot and life sucks without AC
@iWomansplainer I have a job where my job makes me fix everyone’s problems and then I get to go home and be Mom and Wife and fix everyone’s problems. Good Times.
Eliminate Snap. It was crazy in Texas when they were allowed to for 2 months to ban certain items from snap like soda. You saw the whole soda aisle on sale from $8 a 12-pack to $5 a 12 pack. One day my husband and I just walked down those aisles of food they couldn’t buy because we were curious at the sales tags. Cords 30-40% lower. I believe food help should be community based not government
