壁には武侠小説を彷彿とさせる緻密な絵や、自らに課した過酷なトレーニングメニュー、あるいは「将軍」としての軍事戦略を模した計画などが、執拗なまでに書き込まれていた。これらは、彼が社会の周縁で味わう飢えや寒さ、孤独といった剥き出しの現実を、精神の力で圧倒するための「盾」であった。彼にとって廃墟は、ただのゴミ捨て場ではなく、己の肉体と精神を鍛え上げるための訓練所であり、いつか世に認められるべき武勇伝を記す聖域であった。
その文章が放つ「17歳」という若さへの固執は、失われた時間や可能性を取り戻そうとする切実な祈りにも見える。現実の世界では何者でもなく、住所も持たない浮浪者であった彼が、壁というキャンバスを通じて自らを「コウモリの聴覚を持つ戦士」と定義し直した行為は、絶望的な状況下で自らの尊厳を守り抜くための最後の抵抗であった。彼がどのような結末を迎えたのか、その痕跡は今や都市の再開発とともに消え去りつつあるが、その言葉だけが、社会の影に隠れて生きる人間の強烈な生存本能の証として、都市伝説のように語り継がれている。
