It may seem to many Nigerians that insecurity has reduced, but that perception is largely because many news platforms are no longer giving it the attention it deserves or making it headline news.

Just recently, armed men reportedly attacked Naridon Village (also linked to Kamaru Ward) in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the early hours of July 27, 2026, killing more than 30 people.

My question is: Why are we always reactive instead of proactive?

Must innocent Nigerians continue to die before we take security seriously? We cannot normalize these tragedies simply because they are no longer dominating the headlines.

Every Nigerian life matters.

It began with a viral video of a SARS officer shooting one guy from Delta and stealing his car. Wetin concern Tinubu with endsars?
