Amazon Executive Customer Relations emailed on 22 Oct saying carrier handover “is scheduled for 19 Oct” and promising action “if” it fails.
Spoiler: 19 Oct was three days ago. It failed.
The lawn edger isn’t travelling through time—the reply is. @AmazonHelp@ajassy@JeffBezos
FINAL LAUNCH UPDATE 🚀🌱
After 52 days, four missed commitments and weeks of “Executive Customer Relations” monitoring, Amazon has finally found my lawn edger.
Their solution? They cancelled it.
@AmazonHelp Rhonda, I’m not asking you to access private details on X. Amazon already has them and has reviewed this repeatedly. After 52 days, allocated stock, missed promises and cancellation, another three-day wait is not a resolution. Who can reinstate the order or provide redress?
@AmazonHelp John, that email predates Amazon cancelling the order on 22 Oct. I replied as requested. Now I’m told to wait 3 business days for “Executive Customer Relations”. After 52 days, missed commitments and cancellation, that isn’t executive service. Who can reinstate and fulfil it?
So where did the physically allocated item go? Did it miss its Blue Origin launch window?
This is a documented sequence of contradictory assurances ending in cancellation.
@AmazonHelp@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos — who is accountable?
#AmazonFail#CustomerService
Amazon had confirmed:
• stock was physically allocated
• carrier handover was scheduled for 19 Oct
• the order was actively monitored
On 20 Oct they asked if I still wanted it. I confirmed yes.
On 22 Oct they cancelled it as “currently unavailable”.
52 days. Four missed commitments. Still no dispatch.
On 22 Oct, Amazon Executive Customer Relations wrote that carrier handover “is scheduled for 19 Oct.” Three days after it failed.
Here is the documented timeline. @AmazonHelp@AmazonUK#AmazonFail#CustomerService
Amazon’s “Executive Customer Relations” now needs 2–3 more business days to discover why my 31 Aug order missed its 10 Sep delivery, 6 Oct dispatch and 19 Oct carrier handover.
Is this an executive team—or a message relay sending platitudes? @AmazonHelp@ajassy@JeffBezos
@AmazonHelp Thanks, Amber. I already submitted my details and replied to Amanda’s email yesterday.
Executive Customer Relations has the full case. Please link this to the existing escalation rather than make me start again.
Who will address the missed 19 Oct carrier handover?
Amazon: “Your edger is physically allocated and will reach the carrier on 19 Oct.”
Also Amazon, after 50 days and four missed commitments: “Do you still want it?”—with a threat to cancel.
Yes. I still want the item I ordered.
@AmazonHelp@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
Is anyone at Amazon capable of turning a promise into action?
They said my edger was allocated and would reach the carrier on 19 Oct. It didn’t.
Four missed commitments. No dispatch. No tracking. Absolutely useless handling of this case.
@AmazonHelp@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
20 Oct: Amazon said my edger was allocated and would reach the carrier on 19 Oct.
Today: “Order received. We’ll email you when we have an estimated delivery date.”
Another missed promise. No dispatch, tracking or explanation.
@AmazonHelp@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
Amazon now says the edger was “on backorder” when I ordered it.
Yet it stayed advertised as available—with shorter delivery estimates—and nobody mentioned a stock shortage during missed promises.
Were newer orders prioritised over mine?
@AmazonHelp@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
Amazon now says carrier handover is 19 Oct—but delivery may take until 11–13 Nov: another 23–25 days.
Is the lawn edger travelling via the Strait of Hormuz, or waiting for a Blue Origin launch window?
@AmazonHelp@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
46 days since I ordered this lawn edger. 36 days since it was due.
Amazon’s order page still says only “Order received”—not dispatched.
Executive Customer Relations hasn’t answered my 13 Oct reply, while @AmazonHelp keeps directing me back to it.
@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
16 Oct update: I replied to Amazon Executive Customer Relations on 13 Oct. Still no answer.
@AmazonHelp has now twice directed me back to that same unanswered email. The order remains unshipped.
Referring a customer in circles isn’t escalation.
@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
@AmazonHelp I reviewed the message and replied yesterday. No response.
It proposed a second order at a higher price, with no stock confirmation, explanation or dispatch guarantee.
Referring me to an unanswered email is not a resolution. Please escalate.
@amazon@ajassy@JeffBezos
24h update: I replied by email as @AmazonHelp requested.
No reply. No dispatch. No confirmation of allocated stock, what is blocking the order, or whether 19 October means shipping or delivery.
The lawn edger remains more theoretical than physical. Which Amazon team owns this?
@AmazonHelp I replied by email. I understand Amazon would prefer this to continue privately.
Unfortunately, every opportunity to resolve it privately has been given—and missed. The order remains unshipped and basic questions unanswered.
I’ll keep updating this thread until it is resolved.
BREAKING: My Amazon lawn edger—due 10 Sep—has entered a holding pattern somewhere between the warehouse and low Earth orbit.
33 days late. Still not dispatched. Amazon says it may be delayed because it’s “travelling internationally.”
Launch-window update, @AmazonHelp? 🚀🌱
