@tyleryaremchuk As a 21 year season ticket holder dropping process now wouldn't ticket me off if they marketed the adjustment. They could also give season seat holders more oilers buck to compensate ticket adjustment or keep ticket profes what they are but lower concession prices.
@tarynor Since they passed the Leafs as the most profitable team in the NHL they've increased ticket prices by over 40%. 21 years of tickets for me and the last couple renewals I've thought long and hard about letting them go. Killing the atmosphere and their own home ice advantage
@JasonGregor When Katz bought this team he said it was about keeping the team in Edmonton and getting it back to the glory days he grew up with. I'm sure he wasn't looking to lose money, but wasn't supposed to be about profits either. The people he's put in charge of the OEG only see $ signs.
@JasonGregor Since passing the Leafs as the most profitable team in the NHL the OEG has rewarded fans with the biggest price jumps, both in ticket and concession prices that I've seen in my 21 years as a season seat holder. No increases and they'd have remained a top tier profit team.
@JasonGregor They've totally taken away their own home ice advantage and made playing here much easier for visiting teams. Killed one of the best atmospheres I the leauge. It was very noticeably less electric all last season. Even at the home opener and palyoff games.
@rbizzle11 Since forever, it's just not commonly done. Just like switching goalies in a shootout. Nothing says you can't do it. Your just making it a higher pressure situation for the guy you're bringing in
@porterairlines settling into being a major Canadian airline nicely. Promoted big birthday month savings for October. Over the past week looking at flights from YEG to FLL in February. With no sale it was $982, with 15% off it was $1054 and with 20% $1323. Those are amazing sales
Justin Verlander's daughter coming out to the mound to remove him from his final game, Kevin Costner coming iut of the corn field for the first field of dreams game. Little moments that make baseball great and are hard for other sports to replicate
Since he got to the Jays Vladdy has put his all into the team. Pretty sure his nagging back injury that's been down played was probably a bigger issue then they let on. And his comments I think something got a little lost in translation. No concerns about him moving forward #jays
Haven't jumped on the Vladdy bashing train but that's the second time getting picked off in a week. Looked like your team was in a good spot to tie the game at one and after that momentum swings and your down big. Gotta better. #bluejays
On that 2nd A's run how would a challenge call work on the pitch? It sure looked like strike 3 but Kirk coming out of the crouch to throw makes it look like a ball. Catcher and pitcher are both involved in the run down and can't take the time to challenge. #mlb#jays
I get the scoreboard fuck up, but players should know the outs, the base coach was yelling for the runner to tag. He doesn't tag up, comes home anyways on a fly ball and the run counts. MLB is such a joke of a leauge
The fan is out flights, accommodations, tickets and meals. But hey maybe he can sell tickets to the make up date and hopefully end up even money on them. Great way to promote your leauge to fans. @MLB@BlueJays#cubs
No comment from any of the involved parties eh? A fan travels 1500 miles for a ball game. You cancel before a drop of rain falls. Ends up being a light off and on drizzle from an hour before first pitch until 4 hours after before the rain actually picks up. Could have played.
