We survived COVID, forgot every lesson, went back to hugging, shaking every hand in Kigali like corrupt politicians during campaign season, now Ebola cases are next door. 😭
Respectfully, gahunda ni bow and amahoro y’Imana 🙏🏽.
Mutubabarire kbsa!
Today at Kimironko Market, I stumbled on something special.
A neatly organized grain shop caught my eye: clean, well arranged, professional. Curious, I asked around… and found out it’s owned by a 23-year-old young woman, Igena Ritha Betty Turabawe.
By day, she runs her business. By evening, she heads to university, doing law now 👌
And this isn’t new, she started her journey at just 9 years old, helping at her mum’s shop.
That’s discipline. That’s consistency. That’s vision.
While I was there, she was already on the phone taking orders; yes, she delivers too.
If you’re at Kimironko Market, pass by, support her business, and witness what determination looks like in action.
This is the kind of story we need more of.

Yesterday evening, we lost a colleague 😔
And today… it’s a workday, yes,we are sad but still gupagasa goes on
Life doesn’t pause, and maybe that’s the hardest part.
So please, don’t postpone yourself.
Treat yourself well. Make it a top 2 priority.
