What irritates me the most is nobody else’s hair gets policed this way. It’s weird and disturbing. There’s a long-standing history of negativity surrounding Afro-textured hair. It needs to stop.

Afro-textured hair is extremely versatile. Braiding it down drastically reduces size/volume. You can hop on IG/YouTube right now & see girlies with huge natural hair get it braided down FLAT for sew-ins & wigs. Y’all see Cardi do it ALL THE TIME! Why is it any different for Jay?

The ignorance surrounding his hair amazes me. Afro/Kinky textured hair takes different shapes depending on styling. Ask me how I know? My hair is huge in its natural free state & looks tiny when braided down. This is nothing new. This CAN’T be Black people behind these accounts.
