Can anyone please advise? A female friend recently received an unprovoked and unconsensual explicit photo of a male acquaintance on messenger. Is this legally considered sexual harassment? Tried searching online and ringing a helpline but couldn’t get through/ find an answer
Although it seems like she's doing her part, if a cute 6 year old little black girl believes that she isn't beautiful because of her hair and skin, we need to do more, as a community. Schools should do more, the media should do more. We should all do more.
It's wild because these children are 6 years old and they don't really understand what they're saying or why they believe it to be true. But the effect it has on other children is too real.
I've encountered three children in one class who have told other black children that they're bad because they're black. I've also encountered a child who said that black people should still be made to sit away from white people (in a lesson about Rosa Parks).
Been stewing on this for a few days...when we talk about representation in the profession, yes, we're referring to statistical representation relative to the population BUT that isn't all. /1
* long thread* BURNOUT; I was on the fence about sharing my very personal experiences in nursing. But I think we need to talk about this pressing issue within nursing and allied health professions.
Fab time on ward 51 continuing with our IDDSI training, staff very bravely tried some thickened fluids (that’s what’s in the shot cups!). Was very happy to see IDDSI displayed already, staff are now more confident challenging the term ‘soft diet’ #IDDSI@SFHFT @HCS_Sheffield
Great first day raising awareness about the patient safety alert for the term ‘soft diet’ and training staff about IDDSI levels. Look out for our posters above the water coolers 😁 @emma_scurrahSLT @RCSLTLearn @HCS_Sheffield @SFHFT#IDDSI#mysltday
Soo excited that the Careers piece I did with @bbcbitesize is finally up!
I really enjoy doing career promotion activities and making everyone aware of what SALTs do! ☺️

We are working closely with the police in their search for one of our students, Olisa Odukwe, last seen leaving his home in Redland on Sat morning. We ask the public & University community to be alert & contact the police if they think they’ve seen him. https://t.co/rif8cfFIE9
In 4 days you have gotten me just $25k away from my goal of $500k. I may be able to hit my goal before Earth Day and the official 7-year mark of the Flint Water Crisis.
