I’m blessed to announce that I will be pursuing my dream of playing baseball at Clemson University. I’m so grateful for the coaching staff for giving me this opportunity! Go Tigers 🐅 @ClemsonBaseball@jbel242@GriffMazur@cfricks24
"I couldn't be more thankful for this opportunity and where I'm at". Citadel head coach Russell Triplett is not a Citadel alum, but there is no question, he's a "Citadel guy". He asked for the mic to say one more thing at the end of today's press conference to address the alums of the school and the program. His lip quivered a bit. You could tell, it meant something.
He says they are mainly worn by old women in their garden or construction workers on the side of the road.
But Citadel slugger Zach Hunt, raised on a farm in Dillon, wears them as batting gloves.
It’s worked to the tune of 10 HR’s this year.
I dug in, on those yellow mitts.
CHAMPIONSHIP VIBES 🏆⚔️
The Citadel cements the program's first @SoConSports baseball title since 2010, knocking off third-seeded Samford behind a 3-1 decision!
Victory in hand, the Bulldogs have officially punched their ticket into the @NCAABaseball Tournament 🎟️👊

One quick anecdote from my time as Judge Jolly's law clerk to illustrate his mischievous sense of humor: I remember when we were being introduced to another Fifth Circuit Judge's law clerks, and one of them said with faux-humility that he went to law school "in Cambridge" (rather than saying he went to Harvard). With a glint in his eye, Judge Jolly the proud double-Ole Miss graduate said, "Well I've got you all beat. I went to Oxford."
Former U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge E. Grady Jolly has died at the age of 88.
Jolly was appointed to the federal bench in 1982 by former President Ronald Reagan.

South Carolina beat more ranked opponents in a single month than Rhett has beaten as a head coach.
This includes beating Clemson, who SMU lost to.
SMU made the playoff.
