@BravoBuzzard@TruthWarriorDad@ProudSocialist I wish there was a way to apply socialism to companies that just extract wealth (the ones that operate on win/lose). Tax them heavily...
Of corse, make the moral companies (the ones that operate on win/win) tax exempt.
@GeoffWacker Drones don't concern me yet. They are likely going to be limited use because they will be noisy, required matenence, and supervision to operate. So their use will be limited and targeted.
The automated stuff, however, needs to be banned.
@beinlibertarian I think there is a way to get peace and not let Isreal be destroyed. We have to treat Isreal as a child and let other countries retaliate if Isreal attacks. Just call the American president and name a proportional retaliation. American will stand aside.
The NO FAKES Act is part of the Blackburn/White House package of tech bills. It was voted out of the Senate Judiciary Committee this week and is being covered as an anti-deepfake bill protecting artists.
It is that, but it is also a federal mechanism to unmask anonymous Americans on nothing more than an allegation, a notary requirement that makes anonymous speech practically impossible to defend, a content-fingerprinting infrastructure mandate, and a Section 230 carve-out that sets the template for future speech regulation.

@matty1@hodgetwins Middle ground. Defend Isreal, but also treat it like a misbehaving child. Let other countries retaliate. Just call the American president, and America will stand aside for a "free punch."
@oceanicskis@opinionever Whistle blowers? Journalists? Communicating ideas while you are young, yet still being able to get work... all reasons for anonymity.
@HealthRanger Treat Isreal like a misbehaving child. Don't let Isreal fail, but rather let Muslim countries retaliate in proportion to Isreali attacks. Just dial up the US president and let him know. America will stand aside...
@ky_statesman It's going to get far worse. You're worried about sound, videos, and pictures. There are actually new devices that scan the RF spectrum to compose fingerprints of you and your car. Things like toll transponders, car cell modems, Bluetooth, wifi, RF ID in your tires....
@LynAldenContact Parents need better tools, and it WOULD be helpful if sites could identify underage users. However, mandating everyone get I'D is an overeach.
BREAKING: WE THE PEOPLE OF FLORIDA DEMAND A GOP PRIMARY DEBATE BE HELD FOR THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA.
Debates among competing electoral candidates have become a campaign centerpiece in elections nationwide.
Many states have developed a debate tradition and usually civil society groups have been critical in making these happen.
Debates help voters make informed choices and encourage candidates to focus on policy issues, a conviction so widely held that these candidate showdowns have become mainstays of the electoral process in many places.
We, the legal and registered Voters of Florida, are calling for all the Florida GOP gubernatorial candidates to stand up and be held accountable to the Voters of Florida and debate (at least once, more if time permits)
Florida is too important of a state and our nation is at a historical turning point and we must make certain our choices for Governor of Florida are based on open and transparent election processes.
Therefore, We The People of Florida DEMAND a GOP gubernatorial DEBATE prior to the primary elections.

The left should do the same but will almost certainly not adhere to any fair process. But WTPOF challenge them as well.
USS Liberty survivors tell Thomas Massie they are extremely concerned about the treasonous Section 224 of the NDAA, which they say would force Americans to pay for special benefits for IDF soldiers.
Massie says the provision poses a major threat to U.S. sovereignty by intertwining technology, military retirement systems, supply chains, and intelligence operations.
"I think that's a bad idea for the United States."
"Why would you adopt a junior partner with less than 10 million people?"
