@juliaschoolacc Hey Julia, I hadn’t thought of Alix Earle as a leader but I can see why she is! So many people follow and look up to her. I saw how she got millions of votes from her fans throughout the recent DWTS season and finale, showing how she’s an influential leader on and offline.
@IsabellaD889 Hey Isabella, when I think of leadership among athletes Serena Williams is one of the first to come to mind. Her lifetime achievements as an athlete and leader are impressive and have influenced so many others who aspire to be like her one day. She’s a great example!
@julianasRU Hey Juliana! Emma is a great example of a celebrity leader. Being an ambassador of the UN and being a member of a large movement as a celebrity could really inspire others to follow in her footsteps. The skills and qualities she possesses can be found in many leaders, like her!
An example of celebrities who are also leaders is the Irwin Family. The Irwin family uses their legacy to promote conservation and help animals. They often post on social media discussing animals, appear on TV, and are considered very popular. #LIDC92

@mjl456scar I definitely agree that the job industry is creating a disconnect for students and workers with the increase in AI. Leaders need to understand why so many young people are concerned about being replaced and help them, as many seem to sadly embrace AI replacement.
@emmaganderson0 Hey Emma, I think this is a great example. Throughout the years I’ve watched several Hank Green videos for different classes and learned a lot. His leadership and social media usage made learning easier compared to if I simply read about what he was teaching in a textbook.
@hazelma0012 Hi Hazel, I agree. Leaders who show more relatability create a better connection with their followers. Knowing how vulnerable to be is very important as well as a leader does not want to end up oversharing. If that happens they might end up possibly losing followers.

@mv_ru25 I agree that Gavin Newsom is a good leader. He seems to take charge and inspire others both on social media and through his politics. I’ve met many people who support him and agree that he displays quality’s that a true leader has!
@emmaganderson0 Hi Emma! I had heard of Victoria Aveyard before through her books but did not know how she lifts other writers up online. She’s a great example of a leader, especially in the writing industry!
@hazelma0012 Hi Hazel! I agree AOC is a great example of leader, especially with “new power.” Her influence and leadership in politics made many people become interested in topics they did not care about before, especially in discussions led by people with “old power.”
Melinda Gates is a leader with a vision and influence. She uses social media such as Instagram to discuss her charity work, while also using her influence towards a goal. Recently she invested $100 million in furthering women’s health research. #LIDC92
