@ZaleskiLuke Brown babies in cages 🤷
I also recall he proposed putting moats filled with crocodiles around his border wall, which was a literal joke I made about him & his wall; & then damned if it didn't come out that he actually said it
@CourtneyShultz6 So many layers! I'm just obsessed and in awe. I'm not used to being drawn into nuanced thinking by a movie TBH & usually look to books for that. #NopeMovie
#NopeMovie Review - @HauntedMeg writes, "Jordan Peele continues his streak of layering scathing critiques within a horror crowd-pleaser that keeps you guessing." https://t.co/aUeI6KeL5Y
#NopeMovie solidifies Peele as one of the great storytellers of our generation with a film that is as terrifying as it is dense with parallels and metaphors. It’s proof there are still stories to be told that don’t rely on recycling ips.
#NopeMovie is LITERALLY about ppl who will kill or debase themselves for fame and money.
The fact that little YouTube man OF ALL PEOPLE can't grasp its nuance just further illustrates the brilliance.
I'm not even sorry to that man a out it either.
@Rome_Nocturnal@ProbablyEnder_ @honeymellilla @AlchemicPeacock @LoganPaul Also literally b/c of their unique personalities. Think back to the start & how OJ is- the hat he wears obscures his eyes, he keeps his head low, he doesn't meet anyone in the eyes when trying to do the intro b/c Emerald is late. He is Lucky/Lucky is him
@luckywilson2008@ShortiesMemory@CheriseATL@foreversadge Well I was thinking about that & the other horses were pretty wild, pretty confrontational. Lucky was tamest, took direction best. He only kicked on set b/c they shoved that eye thing in his face. Fate of the horses mirrors the humans based on personalities
@ShortiesMemory@luckywilson2008@CheriseATL@foreversadge That's it. And because Steven Yeun's character as a child is the only 1 the Chimp doesn't kill & he did the fist bump w/, he thought he could tame a predator based on that experience. That's why as a an adult, he was feeding the damn thing horses for show!
The shooter in Tulsa had been a patient in the clinic earlier that day. He had had back surgery but was in pain. He couldn’t get help. It was easier for him to get a gun than it was for him to get proper healthcare. This sums up everything wrong in our country.
