On 7th January 1953 Carlisle Infant School opened it’s doors for the first time! We can’t wait to celebrate our own Platinum Jubilee with our incredible community throughout this year! #carlisleinfant70#hamptonhill#hampton#cisforever
We are so lucky to have such an incredible, hardworking and talented team of Teaching Assistants at Carlisle Infant School. Today we showed them in a small way how much they mean to us! #NationalTADay#appreciationpost#HAMPTON#CISFOREVER
Many members of our community come to contribute to our Dig Days! A great community feel, working together to make our outside space a place we can be very proud of!
So proud of our incredible Mrs Carter who ran the London Marathon on Sunday and still made it in to work with a huge smile on her face (and sore feet I bet)! Congratulations Maggie. You’re amazing!
One of the best parts of my job is visiting local schools and answering questions from children. The kids from Carlisle Infants School in #Hampton did not disappoint. I was kept on my toes with questions about “how I could change the world” and “where I bought my shiny shoes”.
Thanks to Headteacher Zoe Brittain, Chair of Governors Billy Day and all the staff at Carlisle Infants for their hard work. The school was wonderfully full of colour with happy and engaged children.
We were really proud to get to show Munira Wilson, our local MP around our school on Friday. She enjoyed seeing all the exciting learning experiences that goes on in an infant school and met with our prospective School Councillors.
We are absolutely delighted with our new school sign! Thank you so much to the incredibly talented Emma Webb (generous parent) for the time and energy you have put into creating such a great first impression for our wonderful school! We love it!
We’re very lucky to have such supportive and talented parents!! Our new, hand painted school sign will be proudly displayed at the front of our school all ready for our September start! #CarlisleCommunity
Following the drama of what we thought was a tortoise on the loose, our Reception children got to learn about and hold a family of tortoises yesterday! Thanks to the lovely family in our Carlisle Community for sharing your lovely pets. The children were fascinated!
Children in Year 2 have been discussing the abhorrent behaviour of some people following the Euro 2020 final! They were so passionate about this, many chose to write to some of the players to offer their support. #RashfordSanchoSaka#NoPlaceForRacism
Year 1 took part in the first school visit since COVID hit! They had an incredible morning at Bushy Park, they discovered the different types of wildlife that enjoy this habitat, made fairy wands and built dens for frogs, rabbits and the possible fairies that may reside there!
