JUST IN: Arkansas high school teacher sentenced to 13 years in prison after she was accused of r*ping one of her minor students.

33-year-old Heather Hare was sentenced for transporting a minor across state lines for unlawful 's*xual activity.'

Hare r*ped the student in her classroom according to federal authorities.

The teacher met the student on his first day of senior year and she quickly came onto him.

The teacher would schedule one-on-one counseling sessions and began communicating with him through social media platforms.

The s*xual activities reportedly took place 20-30 times at her home, her vehicle, her classroom, and in the parking lot at Bryant High School.

According to authorities, Hare even chaperoned a class field trip to Washington D.C. where she and the student engaged in s*xual activity.

Hare was sentenced to 13 years in prison and will serve a lifetime of supervised release.
