If anybody tries to manipulate you into criticizing the Soviet Union in WWII, your only response should be, "Fuck you, and you deserved worse!" Don't fall into this trap! Not only did the Soviets not do anything wrong, but they clearly didn't do enough, because the nation-states of Germany, the Baltics, and Ukraine still exist to this day!

This is their number one trick: to appeal to your moral high ground and make you agree that the perpetrators were the actual victims. Killing a Jew, a Roma, or a gay person was as insignificant as killing an ant for the average German in WWII. Do not fall into the trap of feeling sorry for them!
