This is Rosemary Koech, the Head of Data Protection at KCB Bank who died last week by suicide following severe professional and personal distress.She was subjected to a sustained campaign of psychological intimidation and unrealistic workload demands. Her supervisor, who felt threatened by her high professional standards, subjected her to a deeply toxic workplace environment.

When she shared her mental health challenges with a small circle of colleagues, they compounded her distress by isolating and alienating her. In the middle of all this, her husband, Kevin Migwe Kimwatu, led her through marital storms that ultimately led to their separation.

She later moved to Ngong, where she lived alone until her tragic death on Friday, when she was found lifeless in her house. I have heard this before, that highly qualified professionals in public offices go through a lot but i didn't know it can reach this level.

When such brilliant officers escape village witches, their insecure bosses make their workplace a living hell. For female officers, it is even worse. May Yehova Wanyonyi protect all professional officers in public offices.
