@SteveSaretsky Yup, my argument for years. I moved my Investment money to the USA. I used to be so mad at Eby but now my bank account has trippled and all my investments are tax free from additional penalties. I'm not angry anymore because Eby made me rich by getting out of BC. 😂

@MPelletierCIO I was so mad at Eby when I was selling out of BC cause of spec tax but now I've made millions in the USA. I actually don't give a shit what happens with Eby. If people vote him in I just do zero business with BC. My summer home is in Arizona along with 4 other homes. Lol..

@tiredfornow @MPelletierCIO I actually owned 36 properties in BC as a developer and renovator. Spec tax and empty home and flipping tax sneaks up on you as you try to renovate and then try to sell or rent. In my crystal ball I see nobody renovating to resale. Dead business in BC.

@MPelletierCIO The Eby taxes on summer cottages was a game changer. Money just flowed south as it's a detrimental policy for BC second home holders. Alberta can't afford 2% per year. Money just moves. BC is not open for business.

@MPelletierCIO We don't see the Alberta license like before. I saw pretty much zero plates in Kelowna after the Airbnb decision of short term rentals. It's changed back now but the tourism in Kelowna is down. Wineries gone broke. I sold out of mu realestate holdings and moved my money to 🇺🇸
