If you are travelling on the road, always watch from a distance before getting close to any checkpoint.
Real military personnel usually wear complete uniforms, boots, helmets or headgear, and other military gear. But looking at the picture I posted, you can see that some are not wearing boots, look at some of their hairstyles, and the way they are dressed. That is why you must be careful. Bandits and terrorists can dress like this and try to deceive people.
If you notice people dressed this way on the road, tell your driver to stop at a safe distance and observe before moving closer. Do not rush into any situation.
Don't sleep all through the journey. Be security conscious and help your driver observe the road. There are things he may not notice immediately because his attention is on driving. If you see anything suspicious, quickly call his attention to it.
Also pay attention to how people at a checkpoint behave. Real security personnel usually know what they are doing and carry themselves professionally. If something doesn't look right, be extra careful.
Always let your family or friends know your route before travelling. Keep your phone charged and avoid unnecessary arguments or confrontations if you find yourself in a suspicious situation.
Many people only become security conscious after something bad happens. Don't wait until then. Your eyes can save your life and the lives of others in the vehicle.
Security is everybody's responsibility. Stay alert, stay safe, and always be watchful when travelling.
What other signs do you think can help people identify a suspicious checkpoint?
It will soon be better.

MAN ON FIRE 🔥
On the day I was declared Governor, my company, NEXT International UK received an overdraft of over $7m dollars from Lloyds Bank and I had over 200 containers on the sea. I phoned my wife who was my deputy in the company and told her to take charge and resigned from 11 other companies I was CEO and chairman of including banks.
In 1987, American Express introduced platinum card for 5000 people in the world, here is mine, they later introduced the Black card (Centurion card) in 1999 for 1000 people on the planet, here is mine. I had a viable business and while I don't regret going into Politics, but the fact is that, politics made me poorer.

@Chima_Obi1234 Peter Obi is an enigma
The more I learn about him the more I want my kids to model their lives after him
This is what Nigeria have lacked throughout our evolution
Nigeria will be OK
APC told Nigerians that Diezani stole about N10 Trillion from NNPC. They took her to court for 11yrs Yet couldn’t Prove her Guilty of any Crime. She’s Innocent Today. Same APC replaced Diezani with Mele Kyari who was in charge of NNPC for just 6yrs & Disappeared N210 Trillion. 🤣
"My support for Peter Obi is something I do not hesitate to proclaim or talk about because I can tell you what it is rooted in. My support for Peter Obi is rooted in my love for this country, it is rooted in my belief that with the right leader, we can be better than we are, we can create a country where people will feel included. A country that's not corrupt and does not tolerate corruption". CNA
NO APOLOGIES, PLEASE.
On Peter Obi’s supposed ‘Stinginess’....
Sometime in 2009, ‘Mr’(as he preferred to be addressed) Peter Obi, Governor Of Anambra State at the time, visited Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and myself at Dallas, Texas. He came to deliver a get well message from the President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan and was billed to attend a black tie event at the Dallas Marriot.
Curiously, he flew into Dallas airport with one small carry on luggage which he insisted on wheeling around himself, and on getting to our residence requested to freshen up. He opened his carry on, filled with files and paperwork and a few toiletries and an extra shirt, when the Ikemba and I asked if he was expecting another item of luggage, and he said no.
‘Then, what will you be wearing to the event tonight?’, we inquired. It was at that point that it struck him that he couldn’t show up in his casuals at such a ceremony.
I insisted on taking him to the luxury men’s emporium at Nieman Marcus to buy a smart black suit. When we got there, he was busy doing the Dollar to Naira currency conversions. The suit that was a perfect match for him was a dapper Tom Ford suit with a price tag of 3,985 dollars plus tax. He did the calculations and told me ‘Do you know how many students this amount of money can train in Nigeria?’ I reminded him that he was the governor as well as the special guest, and for the caliber of guests expected at that evening’s occasion, including the mayor, senators and other congressmen, oil barons and captains of conglomerates amongst others, he needed to be dressed in top form.
To cut the story short, he refused to pay what he termed ’that outrageous price’ for the Tom Ford suit and that was how we ended up at Steinmart where he agreed to pay a more acceptable price of 220 dollars, tax inclusive, for a basic men’s suit which he was happy to wear to that evening’s event.
What struck me, was that as we were on the way to the airport to see him off for his return flight back to Nigeria, he reached for his pocket where he brought out an envelope of crisp hundred dollar bills. The amount in the envelope was 3,800 dollars.
He said, ‘Anyanwu, this is the balance of the money I would have paid for the ‘Ford’ suit. If the label on the suit was ‘Peter Obi’, I am wondering if anybody in America will pay that amount for it. I have deducted the amount we paid for that suit we eventually bought. Please use this balance for your Charity foundation to help those in actual need. I trust you will do so’. We all laughed heartily. Vintage Peter Obi !
The eventual beneficiaries of that Largesse were Madam Theresa Agbo, a yam seller who became penniless and displaced when her Yam shed was gutted by fire, Callistus Egbe who was bedridden due to illness, and needed help with the school fees of his young children, and the Mgbemena family of six who were thrown out of their one room accommodation (which we subsequently doubled to two rooms) because their breadwinner fell upon hard times and could no longer afford the rent.
In Life, You either live by your creed or you desecrate the mould by which the Almighty created you. Any progressive nation measures an individual by his values, not his vaults.
If this way of life is what is derided as ‘stinginess’ on the part of Peter Obi, then we all need to adopt this mould for a more sustainable and more humane environment.

Tinubu will handle Economy
Shettima will handle security
If you are not dissatisfied with the services the President and Vice are giving Nigerians, then make another mistake of voting them again.
Congratulations.
This is really deserving! You have worked for it. You have showed up for many. You have helped a lot of people. May God continue to bless you.
Congratulations to you and your staff.
Sad 😭 😭
“A 23-year-old girl—barely an adult, still full of dreams—was kidnapped by bandits. They demanded 50 million naira. Her family begged, pleaded, and cried for mercy. The bandits refused to reduce a single kobo.
For two weeks, her father fought like a lion. He borrowed, sold, and bled dry to raise every kobo. Finally, he had the 50 million. He called them, desperate to hear his daughter’s voice one more time before paying.
She came on the phone.
And instead of begging to be saved, she told her father: “Don’t pay. I will kill myself if they release me.” She was woefully failed by the system but extremely BRAVE
Because for fourteen days—fourteen unthinkable, merciless days—those m0nsters had been raping her. Over and over. Daily. Hourly. Destroying her soul while she was still alive.
When the b@ndits heard what she said, they put a bullet in her head. Then they sent her family the video and pictures of her final moment.
That girl didn’t die. She was mur_dered—after being tortured in ways no human being should ever suffer.
This is not about politics anymore. This is about our humanity. This is about mothers who will never hold their daughters again. Fathers who gather ransom only to receive a corpse. Young girls who go to sleep terrified that tonight might be their turn.
Me: May it never be well with any city boy and girl who turns their eyes away from this. May peace never find the heart that excuses evil for power.
May every tear shed by this famiy rise as a fire against those who enable this madness in government.”
😭😭😭😭😭😭
So, of all the Igbos that has made impacts in Nigeria, Tinubu nominated Joe Igbokwe for a national honour.
He also nominated Sam Omatseye, who described Obi as a de+ad man through an article he titled obident or obituary before the 2023 election.
Omatseye, separatist and extremist in writing, a media practitioner who cannot hide his preference for Tinubu, and a subtle anti-Ndi Igbo?
Our National honour has become a souvenir under Tinubu.
I just received the sad news of the train derailment along the Warri–Itakpe rail corridor in Delta State.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the families who lost their loved ones in this unfortunate mishap, and I pray for the quick recovery of those injured.
I urge the relevant authorities to investigate the immediate and remote causes of this derailment swiftly, ensure full accountability, and implement measures to restore public confidence in our rail systems. -PO
NOTHING IS PERMANENT!
By Mr. Donald Duke
"When I See Public Office Holders Misbehaving, I Used To Have This Thought, "Probably They Do Not Have a Good Wife/Husband or a Good Marriage"
As governor, I was on call 24/7 sometimes.
I got very angry and could take my anger on anyone.
So, my chief of protocol bore the brunt one day.
I had a reception for guests and he placed them in rooms, not the way I would have done it, but he didn’t do anything wrong.
He used his own judgment.
I would have done it the other way, but I over reacted.
I spoke very harsh to him.
While I was doing this, my wife walked in and didn’t say a word.
She came in, did some other things in my office and left.
When I got back home in the evening, I’d forgotten about it. It’s just a normal event in the day.
My wife went on her knees in front of me, looked straight into my eyes like a penitent sinner and said, "The way you spoke to this guy was wrong and we have to go and apologise to him."
She said I had no reason to speak to anyone like that.
I said, "What! He did this..." and she interrupted me, "Yes, I heard everything.
"The way you would have done it was different, but he didn’t do a bad thing. He used his discretion. So, what are you going to do? You have destroyed his self esteem. Tomorrow, he is not going to do anything discretionally.
He would wait for orders and then you will get irritated at that. You have made him lose his self-confidence and that is wrong. You need to go and apologise to him. Why should you speak to someone like that? Because you are governor?"
I ignored her, stood up and went into the bedroom, still fuming. As she will always do if she wants to have her way, my wife followed me into the bedroom and went on her knees again to plead the cause of a man as if he had begged her to plead his case.
"You have to do it this night and not tomorrow" because I kept saying I would do it tomorrow.
Onarie, still on her knees and almost in tears, insisted and said, "No, tonight. That man is not going to sleep well and so you do not have the right to sleep well when he was not sleeping well."
Clearly defeated, I got into the car and we drove to his house.
His gate man froze when he discovered I was the one. In his confusion, he did not know how to properly open the gate till Onarie told him to take two deep breaths before attempting to open the door again!
We were ushered into the living room by an equally confused maid who had to stumble over chairs.
His wife turned in.
They were about to go to bed.
She was in her night gown.
She saw me and was scared with the expression of, ‘Okay, you have come to fire my husband finally’.
The guy came downstairs, petrified as my wife and I walked into the private living room.
The wife wanted to get up and leave.
I told the guy I came to apologise for my rude and harsh behaviour towards him and I told him am sorry.
They all got emotional but I got relieved.
It was like a heavy load had been taken off me.
I still get upset with things going up wrong, but I don’t get to a point I feel I am too big to say sorry.
And am learning to treat people better.
You can be referred to as "Your Excellency" today, but, for the best, it will only last eight years.
Senator?
Minister?
It is not forever!
Permanent Sec? It is still not permanent and we all know it's just a title and not a life long position.
Director?
CEO?
DG?
etc.
Life is a stage, a platform for services unto God.
So let everyone take heed. Forgive and have regard for Human beings"
Anybody supporting Tinubu’s reelection is ev!l. The person needs his brain examined. Let’s forget about party, but base our judgment on policies, performance, and facts. Does Tinubu need to be reelected in 2027?
Tinubu met a bad economy and insecurity. What did he then do? He made it really worse—more than 10 times worse than he met it.
How can a few of you use that have positive personal experiences or relationships with government officials or that few of you are benefiting from the current government to dismiss severe economic hardship, rising costs of living, insecurity, and declining purchasing power?
Okay! Yesterday, the Chief of Staff to Anambra state government lost his aide and two police officers attatched to him at the hands of assa!lants. Do you think you’re safe even if you’re using police?
Even as a young family, to live comfortably in Nigeria where you have security guards, good housing maintenance, 247 power supply, and other household running costs could take up to N27 million monthly. How many people can afford that?
Most of you make noise on social media supporting failed government and mourn your pain deeply when you get home because you can’t afford 247 power either by generator or other sources, security, good home lifestyles, good meals, vacations and other lifestyles.
Across the country, people, including children, pupils, students, teachers, farmers, government officials, professionals and even their parents and friends are unalive or abducted daily. The Middle East, known for war, is now more peaceful and safer than Nigeria.
If you don’t join in removing this government, just pray that nature doesn’t catch up with you with the level of disaster ongoing in Nigeria currently.
In sane climes, nobody would be talking of Tinubu going for reelection but him resigning before the election.
Better go and get your PVC now and join your voice in removing this worst government ever in the history of Africa.
Many Daddy GOs will speak up against bad Governance in Nigeria as time progresses but you this one here, he will never say pim. Highest hypocrisy in God's Presence.
God will judge us all.
