Happily married, saved by Christ, looking to engage and spread knowledge of the Bible to Atheists, Ex=Christians, those who do not understand God or the Bible
@WenBer645904@Tahirhx4@athiestboi Took the fall and responsibility for our sins.
I can take on another man's charges and be charged, but I'm still innocent.
If you saying Jesus became guilty I disagree.
He was innocent on the cross and in death and paid for our sins with his innocent blood.
@WenBer645904@Tahirhx4@athiestboi If any Muslims following this, Me and Mr. Ben not arguing, we sharpening each other.
Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.
Hey, that verse is talking about the nature of sin meaning sinful flesh.
It's not saying Jesus turned into the sins we commit or our sins became him.
Flesh is sinful by nature and Jesus became flesh like us to die for us.
Romans 8:3
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
1 peter 1:18-19
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
@WenBer645904@Tahirhx4@athiestboi Jesus did not become sin, if thay was the case I could sacrifice a sin to God to be forgiven for another sin.
Jesus became the sacrificial lamb.
The fact that he was without sin is what let him even qualify.
Thats the definition of Sin, and that is for those who sin, they will be separated from God.
Jesus did not sin though, and being surrounded by sin and sinners never made him feel separated from God.
Remember what he said to the thief on the cross next to him
" This day you will be with me in heaven/paradise"
Jesus knew his mission was to die, he knew he would be in heaven, he didnt think God forsaked him as God and Jesus nature is never to forsake.
Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
What message would it send to the believers if God forsaken the son himself? And after explicitly stating he won't forsake us.
he had a humanely moment of distress and quoted David who did the same.
Remember as a human Jesus was subject to hunger, thirst, everything we subject too including distress.
God is talking about punishing enemies in that particular verse.
Ezekiel 18:20
Is for normal people.
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Deuteronomy 5:9
(Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I, the Lord thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me,)
Deuteronomy is talkng about people who have made themselves enimies of God, by worshipping false Gods, and hating him.
Read the whole thing brother.
Slow down little brother, let me help you
A lot of people are upset with God because they dont understand and blame him.
God did not alter our DNA to make us sin.
God made us innocent and loving.
It's about knowledge, you know more than a child right? Yes you do.
Adam and Eve was made innocent, all their thoughts was good and holy and glorified.
The serpent tricked Eve into eating from the tree of knowledge.
With that they became aware of evil.
Not only aware but tainted as well.
Example, they was naked before and innocent, you know how children run around playing naked after a bath,
Children don't realize they naked. They are just enjoying life.
Adam and Eve was the same, but they ate and became aware of Evil they was introduced to evil thoughts.
This why they covered they self up, they was aware thay each other was naked and because they now knew evil could have been lasting after each other.
God did not tweak the DNA, it was exposed to something he didn't want it too.
Thay corruption is passed down genetically Just like color of eyes and hair, or looks and traits.
God never said he will.make.sin be inheritance, but sin had become a part of them and so it naturally was passed down.
Cain killed Abel, Cain would have never knew the evil feelings of jealousy and envy or committed murder had his parents not learned it from the Tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Hey let me explain something about sin in general and sinning.
People sin, sin has consequences.
If you commit a.sin and repent you will be forgiven however your still going to suffer for the sin you committed.
The forgiveness part is God not holding you accountable for that sin.
But the sin itself is still going to bring its own consequence even if God forgives you.
God is not the creator of sin, the bible dont teach where sinning come from it only teach Satan was the first one to do it.
And it has consequences, look at sin like you would a really bad disease exceptcits spiritual not physical.
It spreads, it corrupts, it kills, it can be passed down blood lines.
It's like a virus that has invaded everything.
If you son and dont repent you face
1. God's judgement and wrath.
2. The consequence of that sin.
Consequences of sin can be sickness, short life spans, demonic possession, disorders, and so much more and a evil heart too.
@Tahirhx4@athiestboi He was quoting David from psalms and to let you know thats not the first time he quotes David either.
In the movies they make him say it like and look like he thinks God has forsaken him.
We got another person think they know the Bible.
God did not make sin.
And he did not make it to pass down.
Sin naturally passes down.
God states that sin passes down but he is not the cause of it passing down.
He warns and tells people sin passes down.
Look around you. Even today sin is running rampant.
Jesus came and died for our sins.
No need to kill anyone.
The legal system practices execution.
