@kylekittenhouse@semitic_jew How many countries have you visited outside of your own country? Can you drop your passport information? Probably not…… oh wow, stupid, dumb! 😒🤔🤔
@notmuchleftinme@semitic_jew ??? Excuse me??? What do you mean “ wash clothes are not that hygienic” or “most place will provide a disposable sponge or net”
This is NOT true!!!!! Do you have any experience or examples of this?????
@Nomaculture@semitic_jew This is CORRECT! After my first experience, I buy and pack items which I just now throw away (leave behind) at all hotels, and temporary rental properties.
It’s really best to research countries before visiting, just to be sure of cultural norms, including speech acceptance and patterns, acceptable clothing and also hierarchy within the culture. If you’re Black American, definitely look into how Black Americans are treated as visitors in that country. (And this tip applies to any nationality and culture).
In any case, be sure to bring ALL of your hygiene products that you’re used to using, if you’re Black American, expecting certain product availability. I mean everything in your daily routine. East Asian countries don’t even sell deodorant in stores (because they don’t use it due to a genetic mutation…you can research it yourself).
As a side note, my first abroad trips were to London and Mumbai. Both were around the same timeframe, 5 star luxury hotels and everything. EXCELLENT service from all staff members in India. (Mediocre service from staff members in London.) But both hotels didn’t have washcloths 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
