I hate when you’re having a conversation with someone and they pull out their phone mid-convo to answer a message or something and you keep talking like normal, but then you ask them a question and they don’t answer at all. Zero reaction or recognition on their face. Like 8 seconds of pure silence will pass and they won’t even notice. It’s like they dropped into another universe where suddenly you don’t exist. They don’t even hear you. And I always think: wow they don’t even know they do this? I hope I don’t do this?
