In preparation for an upcoming assessment on elapsed time, mass, and volume, our third graders completed a Thanksgiving activity. They determined how long different meals took to prepare, how long it took to travel to their families, and the mass and volume of various foods.
3rd grade learned about animal adaptations and climate. The Nashville Zoo visited and taught them about the various animals they brought, the climates they live in, and the adaptations they need to survive! They later used this information for their PBL! #wearecarmel
4th graders completed a math task based on Kilwins Chocolate store. They worked with a partner to complete a series of division problems. When finished, they celebrated their victory over division by creating their own caramel apples with toppings.#coltsinaction#wearecarmel
