Goodbye, friends, from Augusta Georgia!
As a farewell, we’re giving away one of the limited edition Peach Reserve TOUR-ISSUE Staff Bags.
To win: Just REPOST!
@memphisweather1@NWSMemphis Yes! Trees down in the neighborhood just east of the Ramill-Yale intersection. A few more branches down along Yale as it turns into Frayser-Raleigh near the Spring Hill neighborhood
And we have the talent to compete with anybody! I look at OKC’s roster and there’s legitimately nobody I would trade for our counterpart. Ja>Shai, JJJ>Chet, Des>Wiggins. Yet they’re 20 games better than us. What are we missing?
Would I rather have a perennial basement team? Obviously not. But sometimes it might be nice to not care about basketball this time of year. Because constantly getting excited for the playoffs just to see the team lose again and again is really draining my mental health
@T3Bracketology@dpmvp306 Shouldn’t Memphis be above Michigan St considering the Tigers beat them on a neutral court? Illinois I understand being above Memphis. MSU, not so much
@GoldmanAndSons@tombogert And don’t get me started on how awful they treated us grounds crew with those transitions from baseball to soccer. 24 hour shifts for $8.50 an hour. And they wondered why they had to hire 3 new head groundskeepers in under 2 years
@willgtg901 I think you offer Norvell everything if FSU decides they’re done with him. Willing to wait out another year of RS if it means Norvell may come back
@TOM_III_Guy About 7-8 years ago the athletic department brought this same question to the band so we recruited really heavy and grew the band by about 50 members. Then the athletic department got the bill for the scholarships and immediately asked us to drop membership 🤷🏼♂️
Not only did this crush Cincinnati’s soul that year, but it did the same for Memphis. 2 wins vs Cincy and 2 losses vs UConn in the regular season. Conference championship game loss to UConn could’ve been a win vs Cincy if this shot doesn’t fall
GREAT MOMENTS IN CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT HISTORY: March 11, 2016
Cincinnati's Kevin Johnson buries a late three in triple OT for the lead, but is upstaged by UConn's Jalen Adams who ties it with a miracle desperation heave.
Huskies go on to defeat the Bearcats in 4OTs.
