I enjoyed some luck last week when I positioned myself behind a drystone wall and waited it out to try and see a long-eared owl. Within 5 minutes this beauty flew in and landed on a post only meters to my right.

I went shopping today and bought a red blouse and red sandals to wear with my white skirt Sunday for Pentecost since I had no red in my wardrobe for a long time now. Most everything is Benedictine black.

I'm so depressed. Have been since departing from my religious community. Every day gets worse. The cats are boarded because the house was supposed to close today so I don't have my companion animal to cuddle up with. Worse yet, they postponed closing AGAIN. So now they say Tues.
