I recommend Double Take, suspense by Lynette Eason. Characters are likable, memorable, and have realistic baggage which makes them interesting.
The suspense kept me guessing, is the bad-guy dead, or not? If he is, who keeps trying to kill Lainie?
I appreciate the clean read.
