@carolinenewson What a gorgeous girl. So sorry that she's gone. Very sad.
I remember people crossed the road to avoid my Dad when my Mum died suddenly at a young age.
It's better to acknowledge that person's passing or that person's loss than to say nothing or vanish from their lives. ❤️❤️
Creating a safe, inclusive and trusting environment in which everyone can contribute fully, by looking at problems from perspectives beyond your own, is a practice key to #CollaborativeLeadership. Find out more in our recent report: https://t.co/IC7iNGivsK
New Stanford study on how much leaders communicate & the impact it creates. 4 key conclusions:
1) Leaders are nearly 10X as likely to be criticised by their teams for under-communicating than for over-communicating
2) Leaders who under-communicate are seen as having less empathy & less leadership ability by their teams
3) Leaders are judged much more harshly by their teams for under-communicating than for over-communicating
4) Leaders should adjust their communication patterns by communicating more, even if it leads to the (relatively minor) risk of being seen as communicating too much:

To end, I came across this quote a few weeks ago about the pain of #grief. It stopped me in my tracks but I hope it provides other bereaved parents, especially those at the beginning of their journey (or anybody who needs it) with the comfort it gave me. Love to you all. 3/3

@MayVJay Yes, it's a rubbish, horrible time. Treasure your Dad & be with him as much as you can. I'm here and will try to help with whatever is thrown at you. It's really horrible and not easy. ❤️❤️ xx
A really thoughtful article that highlights the problems of single disease health policy e.g. diabetes.
“Dementia rarely travels alone” is a great analogy-we could replace dementia here with any number of other long term conditions: https://t.co/XnUplNtCRj
