“We’re not saying it’s racist, We’re just saying it looks, talks, acts, responds and smells like racism to everyone who is not racist” Very diplomatic, very demure. 🤧

@BTS_twt
I applaud @bts_bighit for rejecting the Recording Academy's attempt to shove them into a category for the Grammys.
The Grammys wanted to label BTS as "Asian pop." They said, No thanks. We're not 'Asian music.' We're pop. Put us in the main category.
GOOD. Enough with all the groups, labels, and categories. That's what caused all the controversy around The Odyssey. They had to check the Academy's boxes to be considered for an Oscar. These organizations can keep their awards if it means bowing to a system that puts arbitrary limits on artists.
“Nós éramos fãs de artistas que falavam idiomas diferentes dos nossos, mas nunca pensamos diferente deles por causa disso. Eu era fã deles, continuo sendo, e nunca achei que o idioma fosse uma barreira. Sempre me importei mais com as emoções que eles transmitiam através da música.”
Epik High's #Tablo has publicly voiced his support for @bts_bighit's Grammy boycott.
Tablo shared the message "ARIRANG > ɢʀᴀᴍᴍʏꜱ" on his Instagram story in a playful yet emphatic show of support for BTS.
Tablo and BTS have been known to share a close friendship spanning more than a decade. RM has previously spoken of his admiration for Epik High, once saying, "Without Epik High, there would be no BTS."

The Grammy's ratings are about to be in shambles. That category was a bad move.. shouts out to @BTS_twt standing up for what they believe in which is the music.
BTS will not submit its music for consideration at next year's #Grammys.
“We have decided not to submit for Grammy consideration this year. We hope our music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language. We thank Army and everyone who has always stood by us," the group said in a statement. https://t.co/1A5D5cjEwr
