I don't think the issue is only about being informed, the issue is also about assessment regarding ability to pay.
SWS in Glasgow are refusing to look at DRE. They are also cutting services to those who have eligible needs assuming everyone has the ability to support themselves

@mccafferty2 @pressjournal They actively forbid and prevent you using the payments in sensible, proactive, adaptive ways as a disabled person or carer: then they punish you for not being able to use them by clawing back the money and cutting your direct payments.

When it falls apart, the "I did my part" is just a cop out.
