@AveryEtheringt1 This is such a good idea! I think when you call something a poll it becomes less intimidating than a quiz. Then, if there’s any confusion you know what to work on more. I like that #Nearpod has so many interesting features you can tie into a lesson!
To help teach this I would use #blendspace to create a whole lesson available online and use various sites and #tes to access work from fellow teachers. I can also add my own content to my lesson. #ap3040
A1: I chose the standard K.LS1.2 in which Ss in #kindergarten recognize differences between living and non-living materials and sort them into groups by observable physical attributes. #ap3040
A1: I am super excited to planning #InstructionalContent in my classroom. I can use #NearPod to make lessons more interactive and engaging. I like how I can use class mode and teach a lesson or they can work on their own at home.
@SergioVazCab#Kahoot would be a great, engaging way to make sure Ss are comprehending your lessons. I like that they can track their own progress during the game. It makes quizzing them on lessons more fun because they get to use technology so it isn't just pencil to paper review.
For my #Classroom I would use #GoogleSlides to create a class project that shows what each student thought before a lesson, and update it once the lesson was done. This would physically show them their #Progress. I would also encourage families to help at home. #ap3040
A2: #Technology opens up so many doors to exploring the world. I think using platforms such as #Flipgrid or other video sharing sites can help promote #Diversity by allowing students to share their views of lessons or questions asked of them. #ap3040
This could be used to help students explore the world to find out where the gingerbread man could be hiding. Here is the link I found on #Pinterest for PBL https://t.co/9BJj4NSiJR
A1: I came across this idea for PBL and it would be perfect for #Kindergarten. There are so many other options too that could involve #Recycling or topics that interest the class that are relevant to their real world. #ap3040
Q2: Some websites or apps I can use in remote learning would be #EpicBooks which allows me to assign books and make quizzes for Ss based on ability and interests and #GoogleClassroom to utilize the various #accessibility tools they offer to make #accomodations in my classroom.
Q1: I watched the video on #Microsoft I love the #accessibility that can be obtained. Teaching remotely in #Kindergarten I can utilize the read aloud and translation technology available in #OneNote
@SergioVazCab Those are such good options to get students to work together. Teamwork is certainly necessary to get the full lesson across because students can see things so differently. #ap3040
