MOSAICS SSES parade. Every MOSAICS staff member showed up to bring closure to the year. Every student and family’s hearts were touched! Love my job and what we all do for students! #wwsallinthistogether
Poor student behavior is almost always an attempt to meet an unmet need. It’s probably not about you as the teacher. It’s just that you happen to be present in the moment. But as the adult, your response makes a huge difference.
.@samhsagov Myth: I can't help a person with mental illness
Fact: Friends/loved ones make a big difference. Only 44% adults with mental health problems receive needed treatment. Friends/family are important influences to help someone get the support they need #beheretomorrow
How often do people misunderstand what others are going through? Learning how to investigate emotions isn’t an obscure art; it’s a science, @marcbrackett argues. @KateStringer2 explains https://t.co/DkdGUKz099
There a reason behind every behavior. Seek to understand the why and coach students to identify their emotions and give them alternative strategies.

I have accepted a challenge from @27swilliams27 to post covers of 7 books I love: no explanation, just the cover. Each time I post I will ask someone else to take the challenge. 1 cover for 7 days. My day 1 challenge goes to @SSESROCKS
Use the first 5 days of school to set the tone for powerful, engaging learning all year. Check out this amazing resource on how to prepare for an amazing start with your learners #lisdlearns#lisdthrive https://t.co/AqIkSCYA55
