UDA has won every parliamentary by-election since Gachagua was dismissed. Today, however, the Mt. Kenya mafia and their loyalists are behaving as though Olkalou is a representative random sample of the entire country.

During Moi’s era, KANU never won a by-election in Nyanza or Central, yet Moi still completed his two terms after the term-limit provision. Under Kibaki and Uhuru, the ruling parties also never won by-elections in Nyanza, but they still secured second terms. For a ruling party to lose in an opposition stronghold is perfectly normal. That UDA won in Mbere only shows that Mbere is not an opposition stronghold.

Going forward, I am certain that the united opposition—led by Reckless Media Services, KTNSubstandard, RiggyG, and Orengo—will hold seven press conferences a week to remind Kenyans that Olkalou represents the whole of Kenya, and therefore Ruto must go.

The Ol Kalou by-election was more than a local contest, it was a 2027 coalition signal. If Mt. Kenya has politically detached from President Ruto, it may also have weakened its leverage to retain the deputy presidency and other key Executive positions. The real beneficiaries could be Western and Nyanza, whose bargaining power has just grown. The winners in Ol Kalou can have their victory parade today, but the real political dividends may be harvested elsewhere.

I'm not a prophet, but President William Ruto will win the 2027 election even without the Kikuyu vote.

I have said many times and I repeat it again. Kenyans should give @IEBCKenya respect and support and stop swallowing the propaganda by politicians always crying wolf about rigging and stolen votes. Kenyan election is world class. Ol Kalou has shown it again. We have about 48000 polling stations with 500 to 750 registered votes each. Voting starts at 6am and and ends at 5pm. Results are declared at the polling station and reslts given to agents and posted. Certain results can be declared by 7pm. But 90% are declared by midnight. I have done election petitions right from presidential to one in Mandera North and you can't see serious seismic irregularities. So, how and where is the vote stolen? Uhuru's government tried everything in 2022 and failed because the integrity of the system is foolproof. Yes, we have goons operated by ministry of internal security(predominantly in Luo Nyanza) but that is outside the mandate of @IEBCKenya. So my good people, support IEBC...Building institutions and vote peacefully.
