Hello everyone, happy Saturday! Back on this lovely fall morning with a brand-new restaurant review. Last night, Madison and I visited the newly opened Chateau Royale for indulgent French food. We started with Chateau Martinis, delivered tableside
Happy Thursday! Back with a review of the fabulous Emmett’s on Grove. We had cheese curds, Caesar salad, the Hot Girl pizza, and a loaded baked potato—everything hit. Finished with froyo at Birdies. A big eating day and a damn good one.
Happy Tuesday! The ever-chic Barbetebk is cozy, wintery, and inviting. Highlights: oysters, baked feta, tuna toast, carrots, leeks, spaghetti chitarra, and the famous cake. Service was slow, but I’d still come back.
Happy Saturday! Finally tried Red Hook Tavern in Brooklyn. Arrive early without a reservation. The kale salad was amazing, and the burger was good, though I prefer smash burgers. Don’t miss Steve’s Key Lime Pie for dessert.
The review to end all reviews. Last night, we went to Rao’s in East Harlem. A dream come true: warm ambiance, incredible staff, impeccable drinks, and unforgettable food. The linguine with clams may be the best pasta I’ve ever had. Already dying to
Happy Monday! Celebrating our 6-month anniversary at Bemelmans Bar: excellent cocktails, solid food, chic vibes. The jazz trio was a miss, but the pianist was lovely. Pricey, but perfect for a special occasion.
Happy Wednesday! My dad and I tried lunch at The 130 Shop: French dip, burger, meatball sub, fries, and marshmallow soft serve. The French dip and dessert were standouts—definitely worth a stop in Tenafly, NJ.
Happy Friday! Pastis remains a reliable favorite. Skip the artichokes, but don’t miss the fresh oysters, French onion soup, burger, and steak sandwich with their perfect thin fries. Their dirty martini is strong but delicious.
We’re back with another review! Johnny and I tried Gracie’s Luncheonette in Leeds. Great vibes, view, mimosas, coffee, chicken sandwich, and fries—but slow service, sold-out cinnamon buns, medicinal grape soda, and bland donuts. Not rushing back.
Good morning, y’all—happy Wednesday! Back with a review of a West Village classic: Waverly Inn. The pot pie and biscuits were divine, but the drinks and vibe were mid. Glad I tried it, but not rushing back.
Hello everyone, happy almost-Friday. Back with a review of the brand-new WV bistro, Lily Pond Club. Kendel and I enjoyed a spring dinner with strong complimentary martinis, steak frites, truffle fries, and a flavorful kimchi Reuben. Beautiful
Happy Wednesday! Back with a little Brooklyn review. We had a New Orleans-inspired dinner at Lowerline in Prospect Heights. Fresh oysters, a great Hurricane, tasty po’ boys, gumbo, fried seafood, and coffee chicory panna cotta. Lovely meal, but
