“That would make me quite happy,” she beamed. She found herself more thrilled to be dancing with him than any other this evening.

“Thank you, my lord.” She ran a hand down the green silk of her skirt. “Do you dance, sir?”

Caroline nodded and smiled.

“Yes and now my brother-in-law.”

“I anticipate that the next reception here will be even more elaborate. Thomas spares no expense for those he loves.”

“I will never know how he got Cordelia,” she laughed. “God’s grace.” Caroline only joked.

@NathanielP_HP The flowers and letter came as quite a surprise to Caroline having only met Lord Parr just the once. A smile did grace her lips, one she did not doubt her brother and sister took notice of. Soon enough she drafted her own letter in response.

Caroline regarded the lord with curiosity.

“Have you come from far away, sir?”

@NathanielP_HP “Of course, I understand. You will find that hemlock is not in short supply of those who would serve as a proper nursemaid. I can ask for some recommendations if you would like?”

Caroline beamed at him, always willing to offer a hand when needed.

@NathanielP_HP Soft pink spread across her cheeks, Caroline dropping her head as she smiled. Her parasol rested on her shoulder and she gave it a slight twirl.

“We can be receptive when we need be,” she chuckled, lifting her chin up to meet his gaze.
