@BeagsWilliams Sounds familiar: Tillie tormented Calvin when he was a puppy. She didn’t give up when he grew up, as he was a bit of a wimp. When he’d had enough, he’d put Tillie’s entire head in his mouth and just stand there until she gave in.
Glad there’s a fence between Jasper & Thor.
@BeagsWilliams Beagles fight well above their weight. 😁 Our Tillie (RIP) would body slam her boyfriend Calvin (German Shepherd) if he made her mad. He was tall enough she could walk under him but that didn’t stop her.
@WendyMichele55 Harry, our first beagle, usually only barked at cats. Tillie barked at EVERYTHING except cats (she liked them). Violet, who we’ve had for 4 years, has barked less than two dozen times in those 4 years. Unfortunately, we suspect a shock collar in her previous life.
@mikep_lbi Two by Ray Nayler: The Tusks of Extinction followed by The Mountain in the Sea. Unusual; especially enjoyed Tusks. Both are a pretty bleak view of earth’s future.
@SimonsCat Peaches (RIP). She left the house next door after bullying by their other cats and was welcomed into our home by Tillie the beagle. She was the quietest cat ever.
@ddoggiesmommy Her predecessor Tillie could find the most disgusting corpse in a 1 mile radius, carry it home and then spend half an hour finding the perfect burial spot in our (or the neighbor’s) yard. Then I’d get to exhume it later for proper disposal.
@ddoggiesmommy I’m sure she was quite pleased with herself. Our girl Violet does not have the beagle tendency to find the grossest item around to proudly pick up and carry around.
