The City of Buffalo has just lifted the Travel Ban for the southern section of Buffalo. No Travel Bans currently exist in the county. Travel Advisories still exist in many communities as cleanup continues with large equipment. No unnecessary travel is recommended.

Official NWS forecast for this lake effect snow emergency shows up to 4 FEET of snow in Buffalo off Lake Erie. Depending on how stationary the monster snow band is, that total could even be higher by Sunday.
